NJRC & Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity
Join us on either April 23rd or 24th to support Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity! We welcome participants of all skill levels to help complete a duplex for two deserving families. These dates coincide with National Volunteer Week, themed “Your Year to Volunteer,” making it a perfect time to give back to those in need of stability and a place to call home.
Event Details
Build Dates: April 23rd or 24th (10 available opportunities on each day)
Eligibility: You must be an NJRC member at the time of registration to participate. When registering, please select your preferred date.
Registration Deadline: March 6th or until all 20 opportunities are filled.
Donation/Registration Fee: $100 (Includes T-shirt, water, snacks, and lunch)
Location: 17A & B James Street, Whitehouse Station, NJ 08889 (Parking is available at the baseball field one house away from the build site.)
Job Site Hours: 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Lunch: 1:30 PM (Location TBD)
What to Expect
Activities: Your day may include painting, carpentry, planting, and more. Skilled craftsmen will be on-site to guide us through our tasks.
Dress Code: Please wear sturdy closed-toe shoes (sneakers or boots) and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Hard hats, safety glasses, and gloves will be provided for certain tasks, but feel free to bring your own if preferred.
Important Information
Transfer Policy: If you can’t attend on your selected date, you may transfer your registration to a coworker; please inform us of any transfers.
Fundraising: All registration donations, along with proceeds from our Fall Conference Fundraiser, will support RVHFH.
Donation Policy: Your donation is vital to this program and is non-refundable.
Liability Waiver: A liability waiver from Habitat for Humanity must be signed. After registration, we will send you a link with additional information and the waiver form, which needs to be completed two weeks prior to your selected date.
